Concentration during practice will make the game come to you naturally. Repetition creates natural muscle memory - here's a tip.

On every toss be sure to follow through and hold until you watch the ball enter the glove. All the information from that toss is sent to your brain and stored for later use. The next time you need to throw 20' or 50', your muscle memory will recall the amount of effort required to get it there.

Try this: Throw 3 balls to a teammate 20' away. Follow through - watch it hit the glove. Now close your eyes and throw the ball. It will go to the same distance. Now have your teammate backup 10', close your eyes and throw. Your muscles will recall the amount of energy needed to carry the extra distance, and the ball with fly to the glove.
